Vintage cars and free fun on The Parade from 10:00 to 16:30

Cowes Classic Day is a free community event on The Parade in Cowes, organised by the Royal London Yacht Club celebrating classic car and boat design.
Isle of Wight residents and visitors will enjoy a varied display of 60+ vintage cars packed on to The Parade. Bentleys, Daimlers, Jaguars, Morris Minors, MGs, TVRs, Triumphs, Austins and Ford Mustangs will have their proud owners close to talk about their treasured motors. Some very rare vehicles including a Hanomag, an Austin Ulster, and a Lotus Type 37 will also be on display.
Car lovers are encouraged to take part in the “People’s Choice” to vote on their favourite car; winners will be announced at 3.00 pm.

It’s not just about cars! There will be plenty of free entertainment throughout the day including live music from Cat Skellington and the Deva Brass Group, and a Spitfire Display at 15:45. Steam Pinnace No 199 from the National Museum of the Royal Navy will be moored on Trinity Landing. Refreshment stalls serving donuts, soft drinks, savouries and snacks will be on The Parade too.
