The communal grounds are owned collectively by all bungalow owners as a member of the management company. The Management Company meet with members twice a year to make decisions relating to the future of the site. Investments members have supported in recent years include; the addition of electric vehicle car charges to the site, improvements to the access road, new play equipment and other works to help enhance, whilst maintaining the beauty of the site.
Site management charges, are some of the most competitive in the market, for 2025 these are £648 including VAT which includes site management, grass cutting and maintenance of all the open areas. Electricity and water supply is private provided by LCMC with bills twice a year. On Brambles Chine gas is available and bungalow owners have a direct relationship with the supplier of their choice. In 2023 WightFibre connected the site to the high-speed fibre broadband network. Bungalow owners are able to have high speed broadband to their property; the relationship is between the bungalow owner and the broadband provider. As the bungalows have restricted occupancy, you only pay standard Council Tax, the properties are not subject to the second homes double Council Tax premium and may be able to access some additional discount.
Under the Terms of Freehold, you can use your bungalow 41 weeks of the year for holiday use only. You can keep it solely for your own use or let it out as you wish. A full management letting service is available providing income for you through holiday letting, more information on this service is available from the office. You cannot live in the property all year round and only owner’s pets or assistance pets are permitted.
