Bungalow 210 is a self-catering single storey unit on a level section of the site. The reception office, shop and launderette are approximately 250 yards from the bungalow, accessible via tarmac roads and grassed areas.
The office staff are friendly and will assist but have no special training.
If taking the Lymingtom to Yarmouth ferry crossing, Yarmouth harbour is 4-5 kms (10 minutes) from the bungalow. Taxis are available but need to be booked in advance.
The bungalows are approx. 600 metres from the nearest bus stop along the farm access road which is a recognised public right of way.
Vehicular access is via Monks Lane which is an unadopted tarmac road which is easily passable with care and has ramps to slow the speed of traffic.
The site launderette is accessed by a tarmac road with parking and a short walk over a graveled area. It is attached to the reception office and can be accessed with a ramp which can be supplied on request.
You can drive directly to the unit via a tarmac road. There is parking for one large car at the rear of the unit. The entrance is at the front of the bungalow and accessed from the parking space by a level flat concrete path leading to the sliding front patio door.
The bungalow is on one level with laminate flooring in the kitchen and lounge and carpeted bedrooms and linoleum flooring in the bathroom.
There are grab rails on the wall in the bathroom above the bath and adjacent to the shower.
The area to the front of the bungalow is a level recently laid patio extending the width of the unit leading on to a flat grassed area.
The pedestrian access to the beach is a ten minute walk via Colwell Bay, the slipway connecting our site to the beach is currently closed following a recent storm which swept away the steps and left the slipway unsafe.
Disabled access to the beach can be accessed by a short 5 minute drive to a car park at Colwell Bay and access to the beach via a slip way.
The unit is a two bedroom holiday bungalow managed by Linstone Chine Holiday Services. The bungalow is of brick construction with solid concrete floors. Internal ceiling and wall surfaces are of non-combustible plasterboard.
The bungalow has an approximate floor area of 45m² and entrance via a UPVC sliding patio door. This door provides the main fire exit.
Alternative escape routes are via the side hung casement windows in both bedrooms. This alternative means of escape would not be satisfactory for the disabled or elderly.
The bungalow has a fire blanket and fire extinguisher positioned in the kitchen.
Emergency lighting is provided by a torch which is in the kitchen area.
The property has both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Soft furnishings are compliant with current fire and safety regulations.
All electrical equipment and fittings are annually PAT tested.
The combination boiler is annually tested and serviced.
