Robin Hill Adventure Park is set to host an exciting and diverse programme of events this season, welcoming a wide range of external promoters and delivering unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages.
Following Easter, the park will host its first major headline event of the season, the Isle of Wight Dance Weekender. This two-day celebration will bring world-class dance music to the Island, featuring an impressive line-up including Chicane, Gok Wan, Professor Green and Majestic.
London-based promoter Robert Smith shared his inspiration for bringing the event to the Island:
“I’ve been coming to the Island for 25 years as my dad lives in Shanklin. I love the Island – it has a very different vibe to the mainland. A weekend away here feels like a proper holiday. You’re out of the rat race and the air feels much fresher.”
With a strong background in major London events, including Peach & Strawberry Sundae at Fabric, Robert sees a unique opportunity:
“There’s a real gap in the market since Bestival moved to the mainland. The Isle of Wight Festival is fantastic, but there’s room for something different. We’re aiming to establish this as a standout annual event.”
The Dance Weekender promises a vibrant mix of house, garage and pop music, designed to appeal to a broad audience, alongside high-quality food and a lively festival atmosphere.
Explaining the choice of venue, Robert added:
“Robin Hill is a fantastic location with great people behind it. It offers everything we need : beautiful countryside, lakes, woodland, and the infrastructure to deliver something special.”
The event will also champion local businesses, with organisers working closely with Island-based suppliers for production, catering, beverages, glamping and more, ensuring the festival supports the local economy.
Visitors can expect an immersive festival experience, featuring a large Big Top arena accommodating up to 3,500 people, alongside multiple themed stages including a Woodland Stage, VIP Stage and Community Stage. The event will showcase cutting-edge production, including advanced sound and lighting, large-scale screens, AI-driven visuals, and spectacular effects such as laser shows and confetti cannons.
A dedicated DJ Academy stage will also spotlight emerging talent, led by DJ Archie, with a competition offering five aspiring young DJs (aged 12+) the chance to perform live during the weekend. The initiative is run in partnership with CentreForce Radio.
Camping and glamping options will be available on-site, providing convenient accommodation for festival-goers.
Lee Priddle, CEO and co-owner of Robin Hill Adventure Park, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to bring such a diverse and high-quality events programme to Robin Hill this summer. Hosting events like the Isle of Wight Dance Weekender allows us to showcase the park in a completely new way, while supporting local businesses and creating memorable experiences for both Island residents and visitors. It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate everything the Isle of Wight has to offer.”
